I love caring for, listening to and serving people; and doing so with interior design is my first love. I am a user-centric, intuitive interior designer who focuses on how people behave in, interact with, and connect to their spaces on a visceral level. I look for meaning in my design work - researching ideas and creative solutions for each designed space to respond to individual needs, in order to function optimally within their home and workspaces. My thesis on spaces that support children and their families living with ADHD was an amazing opportunity and start to understanding human behavior and quirks; and orchestrating their spaces in function and form to support our ever-evolving lifestyles. A beautiful balance can be achieved between function and form. I would love to see the built environment evolve into spaces that function to support and enhance the well-being of users of all abilities. Lolade Ajai Interior Design is a consulting and design execution firm that is passionate about improving the human experience and interaction within their immediate environment, through neuroscience and neuro aesthetics research that is geared at improving human functionality and, as a consequence, improvements in cognitive agency and drive through conversations, collaboration and research that rethinks the way that our spaces are curated and designed. I am specifically interested in the residential space ranging from a small home to large scale residential developments. * Assisting in site surveys, measurements and details of existing conditions; producing drawings of same and assisting in ongoing construction supervision and working with the architect on site. * Responsible for conception and production of architectural and detailed working drawings; including all details for architectural interior projects like plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models and rendering of space and design elements using computer-aided design (CAD) software * Maintaining and organizing project files and detailed design specifications for architects, artisans and builders. * Working with the entire team, in-office, and with outside consultants. * Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously. * Research, design and development of bespoke and built-in furniture items along with the creation of detailed working drawings and 3-D models provided to manufacturing companies, including following up on work in progress from the design to delivery.
