I am an interior designer who applies principles from Environmental Psychology and Neuroscience to create spaces that enhance cognitive function, and nervous system support. At the core of my practice is The NeuroDesign Blueprint™, my proprietary framework built on four pillars that I use to deliver quantifiable improvements in human well-being in the built environment. My mission is to empower clients to reshape their mindset, reclaim control over their homes, and cultivate spaces that align with their evolving identity and highest potential.
Lolade Ajai Interior Design is a consulting and design execution firm that is passionate about improving the human experience and interaction within their immediate environment, through neuroscience and neuro aesthetics research that is geared at improving human functionality and, as a consequence, improvements in cognitive agency and drive through conversations, collaboration and research that rethinks the way that our spaces are curated and designed. I am specifically interested in the residential space ranging from a small home to large scale residential developments. I believe that wellness should begin from the spaces we wake up and spend the majority of our recovery time in. I believe that every person with intellectual/ developmental challenges, autism or other neurodiversity should have access to a home and community that actively fosters and supports relationships and meaningful inclusion - Because a great start to any kind of day, sets the individual up for productivity, health and happiness; and being given the tools that empower you to take control of your life and live it to the full, is priceless.
* Assisting in site surveys, measurements and details of existing conditions; producing drawings of same and assisting in ongoing construction supervision and working with the architect on site. * Responsible for conception and production of architectural and detailed working drawings; including all details for architectural interior projects like plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models and rendering of space and design elements using computer-aided design (CAD) software * Maintaining and organizing project files and detailed design specifications for architects, artisans and builders. * Working with the entire team, in-office, and with outside consultants. * Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously. * Research, design and development of bespoke and built-in furniture items along with the creation of detailed working drawings and 3-D models provided to manufacturing companies, including following up on work in progress from the design to delivery.
