In my role as a Freelance Garment Technologist at Brand Machine Group, I managed the end-to-end technical development of womenswear products across multiple garment categories. I worked closely with design teams and international suppliers to ensure garments met brand standards for fit, quality, and cost, from initial concept through to production. -Created and maintained accurate measurement charts and detailed specification sheets based on blocks and samples. -Collaborated closely with the Design team to translate creative concepts into commercially viable, production-ready garments. -Lead fit sessions, providing precise technical feedback and grading oversight to ensure consistency and brand standards. -Reviewed, measured, and approved factory samples, issuing clear and actionable comments to suppliers through to final seal. -Liaised daily with international suppliers to communicate specifications, resolve technical issues, and support smooth production workflows. -Conduct product risk assessments, and reviewed and approved garment testing and care labels to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. -Championed quality assurance by identifying potential construction issues early and implementing corrective solutions. -Manage multiple styles and priorities simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

In my role as a Merchandising Admin Assistant, I supported the Dresses team with day-to-day merchandising operations, ensuring accurate product data, smooth communication between suppliers and delivery centres, and timely reporting to aid trading decisions. Key Responsibilities Maintained and updated product trackers, ensuring accurate status updates and resolving issues across the supply chain. Produced and analysed weekly sales data to support merchandising meetings and inform trading decisions. Created and updated line sheets to reflect current product ranges and information. Managed sales orders and delivery dockets using Zedonk, troubleshooting any discrepancies with delivery centres. Input and maintained product data in Seko-360, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. Provided general administrative and operational support to the merchandising team as needed.

As a Production Development Coordinator at Kowtow Clothing I played a key role in managing and refining the end-to-end product development process within a leading sustainable fashion brand. I acted as a central liaison between design, pattern, and production teams, ensuring that all products were developed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. I created and maintained detailed tech packs and technical specification drawings, and introduced an innovative tech pack system that significantly improved workflow accuracy and efficiency. My responsibilities extended to daily coordination with offshore manufacturers in India, where I managed sampling and production timelines, resolved technical issues, and upheld our rigorous quality expectations. I cultivated strong, long-term partnerships with ethical and eco-conscious suppliers, driving innovation in sustainable product development and maintaining alignment with Kowtow’s environmental values. I was also instrumental in managing quality control through regular factory inspections and reporting, ensuring all production met both internal and external standards. In addition to overseeing production logistics, I contributed technically and creatively to the development process, leading in-house toiling, providing fitting feedback, sourcing sustainable trims, and supporting fabric and knitwear development within certified Fairtrade and GOTS supply chains. I also spearheaded the creation of an in-house garment repair programme, a circular fashion initiative that extended product lifespan, reduced waste, and deepened customer engagement with the brand.
