Thanks to my educational and professional background, I've gained a well-rounded knowledge and a good understanding of the garment manufacturing process as a whole, from product planning and design to pattern making and sewing. Working for some of the biggest names in the fashion and luxury industry, I've been able to see first-hand the widest range of finishes and techniques and improve my skills even further.
I work on the development of highly detailed tech packs for the garments of some of the most important brands in the fashion industry, such as Gucci and Burberry. Other than describing the construction and finishes of the pieces, I'm also responsible for putting together the BOM and calculating accessories' consumption, as well as making small alterations to the patterns using CAD software.
I worked on cutting and sewing prototypes and samples, and I helped the pattern makers measuring finished garments.
