At Roatus we provide freelance design services to apparel brands from the first ideation, concept, trend, and market analysis to design and prototype follow-ups. Additionally, we help clients with finding suppliers and manufacturers from our network.
- Increasing market awareness through seasonal trend research reports. - Designing collections for various product categories and markets meeting successful deadlines, primarily for activewear and kidswear. - Creating CAD drawings, prints, and graphics for production - Preparing clear presentations of new styles for clients.
- Assisting the creative director from the early development to the successful delivery of the collection to the production team. - Finding suppliers for the new collection, following orders, and working with the in-house atelier and outside manufacturers. - Assisting the photoshoot for the new collection. - Helping with a new collection of swimwear styles as well as helping the first activewear collection of the brand.
- Assisting fittings for every category. (casualwear, woven, knitwear, swimwear, special occasion...) - Learning the proper language to give feedback to suppliers.
- Organizing color cards and fabric samples from Premiere Vision for designers, making accessory cards. - Organizing the showroom, general help with organization. - Seasonal trend research.
- Making technical drawings for knitwear and leather garments. - Assisting with manufacturer visits. - Helping with organisation. - This collection later got featured in NY Fashion Week.
