Phase two: Garment Technician: • Receive the sample; • Analyze the sample down to the smallest detail, in comparison with the OK PROD sample, • Analyze the quality of fabrics, the colors, washings, etc.; • Analyze the quality of the various accessories: placement, quality of accessories: buttons, zips, etc., after application, quality of application, etc. • Analyze the quality of the various embroidered accessories, prints, applications, etc.: location, quality of execution, colors, etc. • Analyze reports, of stripes, checkered fabric, flowers, phrases, other local motives and all over; • Analyze all finishes down to the smallest detail. • Measure the piece. • The above applies to all types of fabrics: denim, circular knits, knits, etc. • The above applies applies to several types of parts: multiproduct. • Return the sample and the notes regarding the sample to the client. • After receiving the prototype, create the “TECHNICAL FILE”: • Confirm the measurement table + arrows + gradation table. • Do a careful inspection and control of the prototype, • Control the lab-dips, jacquards, prints, embroidery, all kinds of accessories used in the prototype. • Validation of materials and supplies in direct contact with the style office / product manager and suppliers. • Comments on prototypes and validation of OK Prod in accordance with the brand's quality grade. • Validation of materials and supplies in direct contact with the style office / product manager and suppliers. • Validation of care labels, of shipment samples. • Validation of materials and supplies in direct contact with the style office / product manager and suppliers. • Check and validate nomenclatures and colorings for each sales color (choice of colors, zips, supplies, secondary fabrics or oppositions) in conjunction with the Developers. • Validate care labels, composition labels, export types and customs codes, • Manage production, standards and quality control issues. • Participate in the fitting / development session of the prototypes on the dummy-cabin with the other managers of the sector and make the evaluation, correction or approval / Ok Prod of the prototype. • Write in a clear and detailed manner all comments resulting from the fitting session and send them to the supplier. • Ensure that all information regarding the new season is inserted into the company's computer system, which is updated whenever necessary and is available to all departments that need it. • Follow up with suppliers periodically to ensure that delivery deadlines are met and remind them to always respect the high quality levels of the collection as well as all other prerequisites.
• Work in collaboration with the Fashion Designers, Product Managers, Modelists, etc, in order to achieve all the different company goals for this season. • Ensure tha the "Fashion Dossier" was respected during the collection’s development period: • In Charge od develop several product families: maille, tricot, woven fabrics, all kinds of emblissements: prints, embroidery, etc, labels, fashion details, etc. • And several products: T-shirts, Sweatshirts, leisure wear, jeans, woven pants, outwear: jackets, accessories: socks, underwear, etc. • Develop: • Fabrics: quality, weight, furnishings, etc. • Colors: color lab dips, and color (pantones) of the different embellishments. • Quality: make sure that the "Design Dossier" was respected and that all the details were placed in the correct way. • Make sure that the suppliers respect the companies quality standards, delivery dates and costs. • Participate in the fitting session in live model with the other collection products responsible evaluate, correct or approve prototype. • Write in a clear and detailed manner all the resulting comments from the fitting session and send them to the supplier. • Make sure that all information regarding the new season is entered into the company's IT system. • Be always available to help solve any problems that may arise during the development phase and propose solutions. • Follow up periodically with suppliers to ensure that delivery deadlines are met and remind them to always respect the quality standards of the collection as well as all other prerequisites.
