About

I lead creative direction and design for brands that need results, not noise: repositioning, turnaround and scale‑up contexts where product, brand and operations must move in sync. Over 25 years, I have helped heritage, premium and growth brands navigate flat or uncertain demand by reshaping womenswear and RTW assortments, tightening range architecture, and building teams that deliver both commercial performance and aesthetic clarity. I am particularly effective in mandates where a brand must: - Reposition from ageing to younger, higher‑value audiences without losing its core equity - Shift from wholesale‑led to DTC and digital‑first models while protecting product integrity - Restore profitability through collection focus, margin‑conscious design, and controlled complexity I’m interested in Creative Director / Head of Design roles and interim or project‑based mandates for: - Heritage and legacy houses needing a modernised, globally relevant proposition - Premium and elevated high‑street brands seeking clearer identity and higher full‑price sell‑through - PE‑backed or founder‑led businesses aiming to scale responsibly without diluting their DNA Advisory and interim work: - 12–18‑month capsule‑led repositioning of womenswear, testing a new creative direction through a limited number of collections. - Range architecture and margin rebuild, rationalising assortments and pricing to protect full‑price sell‑through. - Design‑to‑retail turnaround for a heritage brand, stabilising the pipeline and studio over 6–12 months. - Season‑zero repositioning for a founder‑led or PE‑backed brand, defining the first coherent creative and product strategy.
