I have recently graduated with an LLM in Intellectual Property Laws at Queen Mary University of London. I have worked in trademarks and copyright during my internships.
I helped in drafting documents and did research related to insolvency and bankruptcy code, arbitration, maritime, and company laws. Also visited the courts of NCLT, NCLAT, and Delhi High Court.
I did research in IPR related issues on trademark objections, geographical indications laws and rights, copyright laws. I helped to draft replies to trademark and copyright objections
I researched laws and case laws in connection to jute packaging materials act 1987, legal metrology act 2009 and essential commodities act 1955, for on-going cases and IPR related disputes of the company.
INTERN – MR. INDRANEEL CHOUDHURY, SENIOR ADVOCATE, GUWAHATI HIGH COURT I helped with research on the Constitution of India, civil procedure code, criminal procedure code, and cases. I also got to observe the working of the High Court of Guwahati and the Family Court.
I was involved in research into IPR, specifically in all areas of nexus between IPR and Contract, also in trademark, copyright, patents, designs and geographical indicators. I also helped in preparing examination report replies in trademarks.
I was involved in field visits to the villages where the women have formed self-help groups. I also did research on laws relating to NGOs.
