• Contributed to the work of the Womens RTW Design Department for the preparation and realization of the all RTW collections from S/S 24 up to today for the categories: Flou, Outerwear, Woven and Jersey Travaillè . • Gathered inspirational imagery from library and Internet resources, as well as the House's 'Documents and Garments Archive'. Developed the collection boards for mood and garment inspiration. • Developed 3D mock ups for draping inspiration and detail finishings. Produced sketches both hand-drawn and with the use of Procreate. • Prepared technical files and renderings for all collection pieces in preparation for the launching. • Contributed to the launching of all pieces of the WRTW Collection and followed the development process. Communicated with the manifacturers in Italy and France to ensure and optimize the progress of the mock-ups' development. • Contributed to the preparation of files and boards for all meetings with Creative Director Oliver Rousteing and participated to all key meetings with the Merchandising and Development teams. • Engaged with the fittings and looks' propositions in preparation for the Show of Collection S/S 24 and Pre Collection F/W 24.
• Assisted the RTW Womenswear Design Team on collections: Pre 'Fall' 23, RTW F/W 23, Pre 'Spring' 24. • Conducted inspirational research and assisted with the creation of concept boards for Collection F/W RTW 2023. Conducted an in-depth analysis of the brand's aesthetic, exploring vintage pieces from the House's archive. • Worked closely with the WRTW team and the 3D Senior Designer developing drapes, construction prototypes and creative pattern making for all garment categories including: Flou, Tailoring, Outerwear, Denim and Jersey. • Developed 3D mock-ups and sampling for fastening, fabric manipulation/ textile and design detailing. • Worked on design proposals both hand-drown and through Adobe Photoshop. • Participated to the launchings of all pieces I have been directly worked on and developed. • Created technical sketches and renderings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and assisted with the creation and up to date organization of the Seasonal Collection Plan. • Assisted the WRTW team with the preparation for key meetings and presentations with creative director Matthew M. W and Womenswear Head designer Susanna Venegas. • Used creativity, technical knowledge and an innovative approach when assigned a project. • Assisted the Men's and Women's Denim team with Denim Collections SS23 and FW23. • Assisted the Men's and Women's Repurposed Design team with Repurposed Collections FW22, SS23, FW23 (using exclusively dead stock fabrics and materials). • Conducted inspirational research and vintage reference sourcing, assisting with the creation of concept boards. Explored the brand's aesthetic, identity, and core features. • Developed an in depth research (denim-focused), on washes, destruction techniques, strass/rhinestones/patches application. Closely worked with the washes developer (Italy based) to produce bespoke washes for our design proposals. • Actively assisted with the creation of quick sketches and design proposals both hand-drawn and through Adobe Photoshop. • Draped and created samples and mock ups using a variety of materials such as denim, woven, silk and leather, incorporating various techniques e.g. patchwork, digital and hand prints and dyeing. Researched and analyzed the development process of washes and dyes' prototypes. • Attended all key meetings, fittings, and styling shoots, actively contributing in the decision making including fit changes and amendments. • Prepared Research and Development Presentation and Fitting Overviews using In Design and Illustrator. • Mediated and worked closely with other teams and departments (Print, Fabric, Atelier, PD, Merchandising) to ensure time management and coordination of the collection. • Took on responsibilities and used initiative in unexpected and challenging situations. Independently and actively contributed to the development of the collections during times of absence of the Designer in charge.
• Actively contributed with the research of visual material e.g. seasonal imagery, color and inspiration and with the preparation of presentation/concept boards. • Took part in the design development process creating and proposing silhouettes throughout collaging/ hand drawing, draping, and toiling. • Developed a wide range of fabric and textile samples and mock-ups using various techniques such as machine and hand stitching, beading and weaving. • Took part in the realization of technical files including illustrator flat drawings and renderings using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. • Attended key meetings, fittings and collection reviews gaining a solid understanding of the design development and atelier process by closely observing and taking part in the collaborative work of the in-house pattern maker and the Head Designer. • Gained a solid knowledge of tailoring and outerwear and the use and treatment of woven materials. • Worked on last minute adjustments and finishing and took part to the Runway show preparation.
Alice has worked as an intern under my supervision for 6 months at Givenchy. During the time Alice proved to be an intelligent, hardworking and skilled player. Alice has helped us on very wide range of projects. She has shown great passion for all different categories and subjects. Her extraordinary sense for details, refined skill set and expertise in pattern cutting was a real asset for our studio.
