About

I am a fashion leader who operates at the intersection of high-concept design and commercial reality. My career is defined by versatility: I have successfully directed design for Womenswear (ISSA, Mikibana), Menswear (Ferré Milano, Gieves & Hawkes), and the Youth Market (Yishion). From the avant-garde studios of London to the massive retail operations of China, I bridge the gap between creative vision and profitable execution. My Journey & Expertise: 1. Elite Creative Foundation: A graduate of Central Saint Martins, I honed my craft working with avant-garde leaders like Hussein Chalayan, Robert Cary-Williams before becoming the first Chief Designer at ISSA London, where I helped define the brand's global identity. 2. Commercial & Operational Leadership: I don't just design; I manage. As Design Director for Ferré Milano and Mikibana, I led large-scale teams (including a 14-person sample room), overseeing product development, quality control, and studio operations. I possess the strategic agility to manage the "Youth Market" pace of Yishion alongside the heritage precision of Gieves & Hawkes. 3. Brand Building & "Pret-a-Couture": I specialize in building brands from zero and creating new market categories. Guo Pei: I was headhunted to develop her "Pret-a-Couture" line, translating Haute Couture artistry into a scalable Ready-to-Wear business model. Loom Loop: Co-founded an award-winning sustainable brand that successfully merged heritage craftsmanship with pop-culture storytelling. 4. Academic Depth & Research: Recently, I expanded my expertise with an MRes from the Royal College of Art, focusing on the intersection of Heritage, Pop Culture, and Digital Storytelling. Combined with my MA in Global Fashion Management, I bring a unique analytical perspective to design education and brand strategy. Current Focus: Currently Head of Design at NO Uniform (Luxury Hospitality), I am passionate about roles that allow me to contribute to Design Leadership, Brand Consultancy, and Fashion Education. I am eager to share my "concept-to-consumer" knowledge with the next generation of designers and forward-thinking brands.I am a fashion leader who operates at the intersection of high-concept design and commercial reality.
