I am a womenswear designer and creative director. I have previously worked for Hermès, Margiela at the artisanal line and at Alexander McQueen in London. After winning a prize at the Hyères International Fashion Festival, l had launched my own eponymous label which I runned for 8 years until 2022. Since then I have been working freelance and I am now looking forward to join a creative house again. I am looking for a senior designer / head of design position in a luxury house, in Paris or abroad.
Head of design (women, men, couture) : - Oversee daily creative direction, ensuring coherence across all product lines and categories in line with the artistic director’s vision and the DNA of LdSS - Contribute to the development of moodboards, themes, and creative research - Source and validate fabrics, colors, and silhouettes in collaboration with the artistic director - Manage the creative team, the atelier & supervise the full development process from sketches to final looks Collection Manager : - Led the fast-track development of a 200-SKUS menswear, womenswear, and couture collection within six weeks under challenging deadlines - Build the collection plan : improve the collection’s structure and balance image pieces and commercial products - Oversee the collection calendar and budget
- Creative research : moodboards, fabrics research, colors recommandations - Fashion design : hand sketching, draping, pattern making for woven, knitwear, jersey - Studio direction and collection coordination for womenswear, accessories, shoes, leathergoods and collaborations - Textile experimentation for embellishment and couture projects - Art direction & production : creative research, art buying (casting, production) and art direction for photo and video shootings (campaigns and lookbook)
Wise Women is a circle of commited women from art and culture - Women empowerment in the creative fields and mentoring actions dedicated to younger generations - Organised an artistic residency in Paris, supporting 12 artists and co-producing 7 art exhibitions between december 2022 and november 2023. - Managing a team of 10 people
Fashion design : - 14 collections of womenswear from 25 to 75 products per collection (woven, knitwear, jersey, denim and accessories), controlled the full process from design to production - Collaboration with artists like @carolinedenervaud and @liarochasparis - Design costume for the french music band @Catastrophez - Capsule collections in collaboration with La Redoute, Peace Bird China, Guérin Jewelry, The Socialite Family Eco-conception : - Strong engagement in sustainable fashion : collections responsibly made, sustainable materials, eco-friendly production, ethical practicies, minimum waste, no sales policy. - Upcycling : «Manifesta line», second line made of second hand garments and dead stock fabrics Image art direction : - Define and develop brand and image contents, social media, digital communication and collaboration with artists and influencers - Won the Public Prize at the Hyères International Fashion Festival in 2014 with my very first collection - Presented a second collection within the «Formers»’s space at the Hyères International Fashion Festival in 2015 - Designed our first shop CORALIE MARABELLE in Paris open from october 2017 to march 2020 - Operate two fundraising in 2017 and 2019 and manage our relationship with our investors - Managed 4 to 7 internal team and a larger team of freelancers
