I’m a brand builder: from fashion to luxury travel and e-commerce, I love to create the vision for a beautiful brand and seeing it come to life. My early careers days were spent at Nordstrom where I took part in the Future Nordstrom Leaders program. It’s then that I started a fashion blog as a resume builder that led me to traveling the world as a luxury fashion & travel blogger. After selling my blog in 2021, I fully embraced my marketing expertise and scaled my way up to Marketing Director. My marketing career has been a great adventure that also took me across the world, working with companies across Europe, the United States, and LATAM in the areas of fashion, travel, wellness, and tech. I’ve explored all areas of corporate America through marketing— working in-house, agency-side, independently, and with startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 100s. Some notable career accomplishments include: - Leading influencer marketing for Verizon in NYC, where I managed yearly budgets of up to $10 million and engaged celebrity and macro influencers for campaigns like the SuperBowl. - Building out the entire social media program for tech scale-ups like TravelPerk and ActiveCampaign. - Creating the Go-To-Market strategy for stealth startups like Joona, launching their social media, blog, and email newsletter. - Consulting for travel companies like Airbnb and Oasis Collections for specific marketing programs. - Growing my blog, Lifestyle Traveler, to 3 million monthly viewers, working with companies like IHG, The Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt, and Shopbop (Amazon), Sisley Paris, and Smashbox Cosmetics, and then selling the business. - Launching and managing my current business, Mia The New Yorker, an e-commerce dog apparel brand where I created the website, branding, online merchandising, and manage product development with providers in Peru. If you’re interested in working together please email me at karendelgadoc2@gmail.com I have the right to work in the United States, European Union, and Peru (triple citizenship).
