A third-year fashion design student at the University of the Arts London (ranked 2nd QS World University Ranking) seeking a full-time role that allows me to grow, develop my skills and make a positive impact on the start of my career.
•Took the initiative to learn in detail about the RL sales process, leading presentations of new collections and concepts to retail clients such as Selfridges, Harrods and Net-a-Porter within my first month. Preparing sample line sheets for collections including RLX, and Lauren Ralph Lauren. •Analysing, monitoring and managing samples using Launchmetrics. Assisting sellers during wholesale markets using B2B e-commerce platform NuORDER. •Showroom organization and visual merchandising.
• CAD professional technical drawings (Tech Packs/Spec Sheets) for manufacturers using Adobe Illustrator, namely a two piece set of women's garments for the new Poner Collection. This new approach digitalised and partially automated technical design development for this brand using Adobe software. •Consulting bespoke orders with clients, e.g. evening gowns for KVIFF, logistics, ordering, packing and shipping sewing supplies for manufacturers and factories. •Presenting sustainable methods using Microsoft PowerPoint, such as zero-waste pattern cutting and using organic and recyclable fabrics to the creative director who took these ideas on board.
•Assisting and advising customers on various fashion choices in different languages and giving them essential knowledge about offered fashion brands, their concepts and history. •Negotiating prices with fashion designers such as Rundholz or Azizi and giving them relative arguments, e.g. Microsoft Excel charts which let me immediately contribute to the business. •Working under pressure when Egoist was short-staffed and AW 20 18 clearance started.
Jill was a great support during her time at RL. I would recommend her fully to any future employers.
