With over 12 years' experience in complex Product Development, I am a passionate and commercially driven Senior Product Development, Raw Materials & Supply Chain Strategy Manager, with extensive technical skill and a passion for strategic storytelling through design and innovation. Having worked across multiple brands within the luxury sector, I strive to keep the consumer journey at the forefront and thrive within a setting that allows me to manage a global network while developing and sourcing innovative materials that both respect and honour a brand's identity and sense of self. Passionate about responsible creation whilst protecting brand identity, margins and business targets I am experienced in managing the company CP, time pressured projects and entire product life cycle and I have therefore continued to develop my professional and technical skills currently getting my Project Management Certifications PRINCE2 /PRINCE2 Agile® and APM Project Management Qualification striving to collaborate across all environments witin the industry that promote growth and inclusivity where I believe my set of skills are transferable. Main responsibilities: Project Management : Managing the full Product life cycle: Handbags, SLGs & Jewellery & Soft Accessories Categories; Following the seasonal pipeline calendar with team and cross-functional support regularly to plan and prioritize workload, to meet deadlines and increase efficiency; Sampling/ Factories & Process Management: Support the seasonal end-to-end product development process and final approvals with the design team, CD, Merchandising and vendors; Expertise in structuring process, introducing Critical Path & Sampling Schedules; Working with the design teams to advise on correct leathers, fabrics/trims. Assess costs for RM and estimate total product costs and margins in line with range plan and business requirements; Setting and monitoring Product Specs, Fabrications, BOMs in the Design System for each seasonal collection to ensure accuracy and product final costing; Review product placement and send tech packs to suppliers and factories; Forecasting seasonal sampling budgets; Regular visits to production sites followed by quality assessments to assure that all suppliers delivered to standard and top quality materials; Set up process and guidelines followed by implementation at factories to ensure that requested specs are followed; Identifying to a meticulous, detailed level, any discrepancies in deliveries, prices, or any issues, either financial or QC, that reflect on the company's goal, which is to provide a first-class product; Monitoring the efficient delivery of projects against our internal rate card ensuring they are delivered on brand, on budget and on time; Sourcing new highly specialized factories for each product category, making seasonal visits and negotiating contract terms; Reviewing workmanship, product care, trims and packaging on production samples.
