 Source relevant woven, jersey, activewear, and denim fabrics strategically and promote those opportunities to designers and buyers.  Attend global fabric exhibitions- Intertextile Shanghai, and Denim Expo Dhaka and visit mills to explore new product trends and technology.  Identify and establish key fabric trends for the upcoming season, covering woven, denim, jersey, and activewear products.  Partner with fabric suppliers globally to deliver highly innovative fabrics and provide technical support with design, product development, product integrity, and garment vendor partners.  Coordinate meetings between mills, design, and product development as needed to find new fabric qualities and finishing techniques that hit time and action calendar requirements.  Negotiate with fabric mills to secure the best fabric price.  Risk assessing fabric suitability for performance, sustainability, provenance, and end to end use  To deliver the technical strategy, follow the processes, policies, and standards.  To carry out accurate and timely execution of fabric processes defined at the business organization level.  Closely monitor the fabric mill's performance in terms of price, quality, lead time, and agreement for on time shipment.  Manage and prepare key trend presentations for buying and design teams.  Drive strategic seasonal cross costing projects on core programs globally.  Management of digital and physical libraries  Organize mill week twice in a year for newly developed fabric presentation from local and overseas mills  Continuous coordination and follow up on fabric replacement and approvals with the team concerned.

 Source relevant fabrics strategically and promote those opportunities to designers and buyers.  Identify and establish key fabric trends for the upcoming season covering woven, jersey, denim, and technical fabrics for the products of ladies', men's, and children’s wear.  Actively source and manage the fabric supply base and expand the respective network in Bangladesh and overseas countries.  Working with Bangladesh and overseas countries' renowned mills (China, India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Korea, Turkey, and Brazil)  Attend trade shows and visit mills to explore new product trends and technology.  Provide technical guidelines to fabric mills to ensure fabric quality.  Closely monitor the fabric mill's performance in terms of price, quality, lead time, and agreement for on time shipment.  Manage and prepare key trend presentations for the UK buying and design teams.  Work with product managers and merchandise teams to review and manage fabric costs as per targets.  Drive strategic seasonal cross costing projects on core programs globally.  Actively manage sourcing for critical paths.  Plan and execute the establishment of new global sourcing routes.  Monitor the execution of the day-to-day fabric sourcing requests for all territories from merchandising, design, NUK Fabric Sourcing and buying teams to ensure that they are completed on time.  Advising and working with fabric mills to ensure the fabric quality standard at development stage to ensure correct bulk quality as per base approval.  Tolerances for fabric performance at product development stages, updated by the technical and merchandising team.  Liaising with the merchandising team and technical team for all types of fabric related issues.  Working to maintain the fabric library to keep the right quality fabric for different product teams.  Continuous coordination and follow up on fabric replacement and approvals with the concerns team.
