Post my undergraduate education, I am focused on being a part of a brand that is creating a positive impact and disrupting the fashion industry, with sustainability at its core. As I set out on my career, my goal is to strike a balance between the creative side & the business side of the fashion industry.
Worked as a retail assistant at the Covent Garden store. Tasks included assisting customers and processing sales transactions, restocking and ensuring visual appeal of the sales floor. The dual role encompassed being the creative assistant; assisting with pop- ups, analyzing the Shopify website and improving its engagement, creating Instagram & TikTok content & brainstorming a weekly plan to implement blogs, newsletters and other promotional content.
Worked as a marketing assistant at British-born-and-bred, sustainably focused, slow fashion brand 'Beatrice Bayliss' performing administrative tasks, conducting market research, updating databases, writing website content and weekly blogs, creating & distributing online newsletters, updating stock data on the website & creating an industry planner.
Worked backstage as a Dresser for Korean Luxury Brand 'Eudon Choi's' Spring- Summer 2023 Collection showcased at LFW. Job role involved assembling clothing stands, hanging clothes in order of looks and ensuring all models are dressed according to the styling.
Participated as a model in an editorial shoot for 'Verve,' India's first home-grown luxury lifestyle magazine, highlighting Indian street-wear brands striving for diversification, authentication and recontextualisation in a primarily Western influenced aesthetic. Gained insights into the back-end and front-end processes of a photoshoot for a major publication.
