Led end-to-end development of womenswear flat knit and menswear jacquard & knit collections: from yarn selection and machine specification through to finished sampling and bulk-ready prototypes across 40+ SKUs. Managed construction of knit structures with precise performance requirements: stitch density, loop length, float control, and finishing specifications for mechanical durability and aesthetic consistency. Collaborated closely with sampling floor technicians and merchandising teams, producing technical documents. Translated design briefs into technically executable specifications, ensuring alignment between creative intent and industrialization requirements
Managed end-to-end AW'23 collection launch: from initial concept through proto development, fit review, and production-ready sampling | driving 47% growth through sportswear and seamless knitwear development. Developed technical sportswear and seamless knitwear for performance end-use: corporate workwear for clients like, ICC Workforce, Anytime Fitness, and mapping performance material behaviour against rigorous user-requirement briefs. Consulted at BIS for the development of the standardization of yoga wear under AYUSH. Developed compression socks and functional seamless knitwear with performance specifications like graduated compression, pressure mapping, moisture management. Coordinated with local and international vendors for seamless and cut-and-sew garments sampling and production
Developed and sampled over 72 individual knit structures across 2 full collections, applying machine-level knowledge (stitch cam settings, yarn count, tension specifications) to achieve target fabric behaviours. Optimized design-to-sample workflows across 42 SKUs by identifying construction inefficiencies and proposing structural iterations, thus reducing sampling time and waste
Developed maternity and nursing wear through primary research (focus groups, user studies), then translated user needs directly into construction briefs and techpack specifications for an 18-SKU AW'23 collection. Sourced materials from international trade fairs; coordinated with suppliers & produced technical documentation like POs
Designed 12 silhouettes and print design from sketch to final product while overseeing sampling, and garment construction. Co-managed a 30-member production team for a festive collection and developed hands-on knowledge of production sequencing, quality checkpoints
