Alexandros Vasdekis

WOMEN’S FOOTWEAR DESIGNER for luxury brands who want to stand out
About

An extremely passionate and experienced women’s footwear designer, with a love for creating comfortable ‘art for the feet’. I have worked in the footwear industry designing and creating collections for brands in Los Angeles, Milan, Naples, London and Athens, from concept to final product, and have also collaborated with world-renowned factories and suppliers that work with some of the biggest footwear brands in the industry. I constantly strive to come up with original designs and shapes, and I love experimenting with various colourways and materials. With a strong consumer awareness, my personal design style leans more towards "quirky but elegant" shoes, and I have the aptitude to adjust my designs to fit those of a brand's DNA. Having a strong creative strategy, I am able to deliver products that fit the clients and market's requirements. Striving to find ways of creating fashion that is sustainable, I combine my educational background and knowledge in biology with footwear designing, in order to create sustainable collections, and use materials that are considered friendly towards the environment.
