Graduate Fashion Week

As a volunteer for Birmingham City University at Graduate Fashion Week, I worked backstage, helping dress models, as directed. Being a part of this event really gave me insight to how fast-paced and demanding this line of work can be. The busy atmosphere excited me for the remainder of my degree, In the hopes that I can showcase my work at GFW. I was also introduced to new graduate designers which was very inspiring.

All About Ewe

As a volunteer ath the alternative wedding fair, I was a part of the event management team. Setting up and preparing the venue for guests, checking guests in and selling new tickets. I handled money and recorded all transactions using Microsoft Excel. I also assisted models in the dressing rooms with corsets, dresses and makeup. This gave me good experience in the customer facing roll, improving my organisational and prioritisation skills.
