• Sourcing and development of fabrics and trims for seasonal collections and special projects • Assisting in material orders, reception and inventory • Participation in international textile trade shows • Coordination of daily communication with all the studio’s departments and external ateliers • Assisting in creating collection overviews and preparing for meetings • Archiving of past collections and materials • Following up on supplier invoices and payments
• Design propositions for women’s ready-to-wear outerwear & leather • Iconographic and vintage research • Draping & creation of silhouettes in 3D • Sewing of mock-ups and prototypes alongside research of finishings • Simulations & colorisations with Photoshop • Participation and following up of information in design meetings with the design director • Keeping up the communication between the Paris office and the PD department in Stockholm, and with suppliers and tanneries
• Working closely with the owner & head designer on new collections, from brainstorming and creating concepts, to development and realization. • Pattern-making, sewing of the first samples and carrying out fittings. • Technical drawing for tech-packs. • Researching and sourcing fabrics, both for the production lines and for special orders of private clients. • Managing orders from local suppliers - fabrics, tags, trims, etc. • Supervising the local ateliers to ensure the quality of the finished garments. • Branding for a mini-collection of T-shirts - creating the logo, tags and all the graphics associated to the line.

I had the pleasure of supervising Tal during his two year alternance with us at Y/Project. During his time at Y/Project, Tal has done a terrific job in his positions. He has proven excellent creative skills as well as organizational skills and was always able to effectively ensure that all projects were completed in a timely manner.
