In the context of the demerger of a family group, I contributed to the creation of a new HR department and the implementation of performance indicators to manage HR activities. As a fully integrated company, I was able to work with R&D and sales staff, as well as workers and technicians from three production plants. The business was also characterized by the opening of a production unit in Spain and the implementation of a new production process. My tasks involved the introduction of flexible working hours, forward-looking management of employment and skills, and the definition and implementation of a new compensation policy (termination of practices, bonus plan for sales staff, provident/health insurance, employee savings schemes). I mainly recruited production employees, technicians and managers in support and sales functions.
Against the backdrop of the merger of two entities (automobile claims and health), I was in charge of managing the social impact of the merger (internal reclassifications, changes to employment contracts, termination of company agreements and practices). I also took part in negotiating agreements with the four union representatives. I was also responsible for drawing up the training plan and recruiting IT managers (architects, web designers, systems engineers, etc.).
As part of a new position and against a backdrop of opening up the market to competition (Borloo law), I defined and implemented the new HR policy to develop the professionalization of the 46 association Presidents and their 1500 Life Assistants, Home Aides and Nurses: This experience was also marked by the reorganization of the payroll department (change of software, 3,000 pay slips/month) as well as the recruitment and management of a team of 10 people. As a member of the Management Committee and a member of the Board of Directors, I was able to contribute my expertise in HR to their decision-making process.
