- Working across different brands designing, assisting, & consulting across womenswear & homeware -Key client is with Angela Wickstead Home across all areas of design & creative including; website development, cad work, design work, social media, marketing, factory & client liaison, photography, retouching work, photoshopping images, shoot organisation, sample intake & distribution for PR.
- Collaborating with the Design Manager, under the Creative Director, working closely with the Sales director, atelier & production teams on coordination & direction for the forthcoming seasons -Working across show & pre collections, as well as commercial collections for Net A Porter & Matches -Extensive research across all design aspects, creating & developing mood boards & original inspiration themes, stories, & concepts for seasonal collections & projects -Sourcing of relevant fabrics, embroideries & suppliers to meet the design requirements for each project, along with the management of suppliers -Creating hand drawn sketches, & accurate technical cad specs -Working with the Marketing & PR teams to provide key themes & reference points each season -Translating all sketches into clear, concise, accurate, & aesthetic cads to present to the team & buyers -Creating & developing innovative & original initial design ideas, embroideries, techniques, applications, fabrications, & prints, for each collection -Preparing & assisting in fittings, translating fit comments for atelier, whilst ensuring cads are updated -Design development across all areas including knit, bags, shoes, hats, jewellery, embellishment, print -Assisting & supporting preparation & organisation for all ecommerce shoots, creative shoots, & shows -Managing imagery, & providing retouching notes for all shoots in accordance to Emilia's preference -Extensive photoshop work & retouching of images for social media, lookbook & ecommerce -Providing support in presenting the collection at all stages to senior management -Ensuring critical path deadlines are maintained & management of juniors & interns in house
- Working closely with the creative director, design manager & sales director across all womenswear -Concept research & mood board creation, finding key ideas & detail, & providing notes to all teams -Design development, hand drawing, technical specs, cads in print & colour, consistent in creating best sellers -Working directly with all factories to create, provide & discuss; technical specs, fitting notes, BOM sheets, with overcoming issues, & chasing in all samples at all stages until Salesman Samples -Managing intake & distribution of all samples to all sales teams & countries -Sourcing & ordering trims & fabrics for all sampling, attending fairs & suppliers, & overseeing delivery -Working closely with in house pattern cutters & seamstresses to create silhouettes & to ensure technically viable, & to Orla's aesthetic values -Assisting on campaign & lookbook shoots; sourcing props & locations, booking artists, styling & pre-shoot & on set organisation & preparation -Working on licensing product including jewellery & watches & special projects such as shoe collaboration research, the exhibition, prop development for the exhibition including tiny dolls & giant dresses.
