Worked as a cashier, handling payments accurately and serving around 100–200 customers per shift, including the Christmas rush. Helped customers on the shop floor and dealt with queries and complaints calmly. Supervisors commented positively on how I handled them. Moved stock from the stockroom onto the shop floor and kept it neat and organised so the store always looked its best. Helped set up displays for new seasonal ranges, making sure they met store guidelines. Took in deliveries from the van and carried out regular stock checks, so any discrepancies were caught early. Worked in a team of around 10 to hit daily service targets. Picked up the internal stock system quickly and later showed new starters how to use it.
