VBO is a bar/restaurant less then 2 years old. My role at VBO was split into 2 hats. I would help plan and organise their events along side 2 others. My other hat entailed being the face of VBO. The nature of stint is a student run agency providing temporary work for students around the U.K. It may be a receptionist job, catering, retail or hostessing for various different venues. During these shifts the staff will never rarely be the same meaning we are forced to work as a bee team effectively on every shift. At first I found this uncomfortable but soon learned around it.

My role at Hugo Boss was to be the face of Hugo boss at all times via handling customers with the upmost care and unique finesse at all times. My job entailed maintaining the shop atheistic, styling customers, tailoring customers, selling Hugo boss product with pride making sure the clients leave our store satisfied. A diverse range of customers tend to come through Hugo Boss as it is an international brand; this has given me ample amount of contact time with people for all kinds of walks of life. All leaving with the same general thought of customer service. During my time at Hugo boss I stayed ahead of sales targets and made sure that my team could do so too.

My role as a crew member in John Lewis was to make sure packeted food was always out and organised. That cold and cool deserts are always stocked up and presented well. I also had to put out new tea cups and tea pots as well as plates and glasses. When the restaurant is busy I would be asked to to the floor and collect plates and and remains of the table, Clean it and make it look presentable for the next consumers to take seat.

My role as a sales assistant in Sunglass hut was mainly to give costumers "Sunglass hut experience" and great costumer service. We help costumers find their perfect pair of luxury sunglasses and leave with a big smile. I am till trained and learned how to fix lenses as well as the different types and the effects they have on your eyes. During this job I have learnt more about how to sell luxury brands and also how to adampt myself to different clientele.

My role in TK maxx as an associate on the shop floor was to make sure my department was always in order. I worked on accessories and bath & body. this meant I have to block all out products do they looked presentable according to size and colour. Make sure customers did not open and test the products with a seal on them due to health and safety. I also had to rearrange the features if the amount of products we had left ad changed or we no longer had the feature item. I was also till trained; this is where I was posted the majority of the time. Working on tills we have to look out a lot for loss prevention like switched tickets, dishonest customers and incorrect sales stickers.

Very seldom was I in the kitchen however I was expected to clean and tidy the designated areas of the store. This includes the lobby area, kitchen area and till space. McDonald's is a speedy, unprodictable working environment that helps one with speed, thick skin and problem solving within given boundaries.

I worked during the summer at S.O.U.L Media - focusing primarily on miscellanious administratve duties such as answering calls, updating social media and book-keeping. I was also assigned to collect new music from both up-coming and established artists. I also assisted in drafting emails to potential artists/guests due to appear on the media broadcasts as well as catering to guests ensuring a warm welcome as well as signatures on signing into the building and out.
