As part of the senior management team, I hold strategic control of finance, HR, IT, logistics and administration. I plan and execute operational strategies to control all aspects of business finance not limited to accounting, budgeting, treasury and reporting. I direct an in-house team and multiple outsourced teams across IT, security, legal, carriers, brokers, payroll and maintenance, ensuring transparency of all financial policies. I am equally focused on building strategic partnerships with service providers, landlords, carriers, IT developers and construction companies to leverage the power of alliances in long-term projects.
As financial controller of four diverse company divisions in the Russian, Ukrainian, duty free and wider ex-CIS country areas, I conducted feasibility assessments for new projects to determine funding requirements. I analysed periodic budgets and previous performance, prior to reporting at senior level with commentary and deviations. I formed strong relationships with sales & marketing, HR, supply chain, IT and wider functions to control all aspects of financial management, risk mitigation and cashflow modelling, often considering automation tools and solutions.
