I have hands-on weekend retail experience in a museum gift shop, with strong visual merchandising skills and a passion for creative products. I’m organised, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service, with flexible availability for part-time retail roles in premium environments.
Worked weekend shifts, 10am – 7.30pm, in the museum gift shop, welcoming visitors and helping them find gifts, books, art products and other merchandise offered by MAP. Applied my art and design knowledge to talk with customers about products and the artists and ideas behind them. Kept the shop presentable, helping with visual merchandising & product photography.
Led the art & graphics strategy for 7+ projects: curation, design & research strategy, oversaw production & installation, driving cross-functional alignment between design, production, and operations teams to deliver on time and on budget. Mentored 2 junior designers through project-based learning, structured feedback, and process training, contributing to team capability building and knowledge transfer. Drove cost reduction & mobilised the team for in-house artwork production, reducing dependence on external vendors and improving margins on art & graphics deliverables. Led end-to-end creative direction and execution of environmental graphics and art installations.
Designed packaging for 7 new product launches, from concept to shelf-ready, and coordinated vendors across India and China. Created retail banners, brochures and other assets, keeping branding consistent across platforms.
Led design for an 18.2-acre school campus and presented to 5+ stakeholders. Designed and installed a custom facade mural for the Studio’s showcase at Designuru, a multi-day design, art, & architecture festival.
