Dera Eneremadu

Vibrant beauty and fashion lover with proven retail experience, entrepreneurial drive, and a genuine passion for people.
About

If you are looking for someone who brings genuine passion, proven experience, and unstoppable energy to every shift, you have found her. Beauty and fashion are not hobbies for me; they are part of who I am. From obsessing over skincare ingredients and niche fragrances to staying ahead of the latest makeup trends and fashion drops, I live and breathe this industry. That means when I am on the shop floor, my enthusiasm is real, my recommendations are informed, and my customers leave feeling genuinely seen and styled. I have built experience across retail, hospitality, and administration, and I founded and ran my own online clothing business from the age of 13, giving me a level of commercial awareness and entrepreneurial drive that sets me apart. I have also worked in a professional family law firm, as a retail assistant, and as a journalist, which speaks to my ability to adapt, communicate, and perform to a high standard across completely different environments. I am a natural with people. I connect quickly, communicate clearly, and take real pride in going above and beyond for every customer. I thrive under pressure, I am motivated by targets, and I bring positive energy to every team I am part of. Fast-paced environments do not faze me; they fuel me. Predicted A*AA at A Level and starting at University College London next year after my gap year, I am at an exciting point in my life where I am hungry, fully available, and ready to give everything to every opportunity I take on. I do not just show up. I show out.

Direct manager - Manager/Creative producer, The Barnet Post & Exposure Org
Oct 2024 -

I worked closely with Dera for over two years at Exposure, a youth communications charity, and she consistently impressed me with her reliability, warmth, and genuine commitment to the work. Dera brought a quiet confidence and real integrity to everything she took on, from writing a powerful poem and article exploring themes of displacement and survival, to engaging thoughtfully with complex ethical questions around media and representation. She never shied away from difficult subjects, approaching them with care and seriousness. What struck me most, though, was how she showed up for the people around her. Dera is the kind of person who makes a team better. She's attentive, considerate, and steady under pressure. Colleagues and peers trusted her naturally, and that says a lot. I have no doubt she'll bring the same dedication and warmth to a customer-facing role. Anyone who works with her will be lucky to have her.
