Along with many other tasks, I lead the seamless integration of Lectra technology and improve the design-to-production process for intricate projects. Initiate advancements in digitalisation and sustainability and upgrade operations within the fashion industry through process innovations. One of my key assignments in this role is to communicate with internal stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on sourcing activities, performance, and strategic initiatives. Here are some of my highlighted key achievements: • Improved product quality and maximised business profitability by supervising a team of 35 professionals for strategic technical development initiatives. • Optimised product development and minimised lead times by overseeing the deployment of Browzwear, an advanced 3D sampling and fitting technology. • Directed and inspired teams toward new vision despite challenges of change management, particularly within large companies entrenched in old mindsets. • Saved significant time and money by identifying and rectifying deficiencies in processes. Developed a new Tech Pack strategy through supplier interviews aimed at enhancing process efficiency. • Pioneered a pivotal shift in business model from copycat to brand-oriented workflow. Executed necessary adjustments in design and sourcing processes to adapt to the changing landscape

During this time period, I developed and implemented global sourcing strategies for the knits department to enhance supplier selection and meet financial objectives. I was tasked with overseeing the sourcing and technician team on strategies, technical aspects, and industry best practices. I expanded into new markets and created a sophisticated sourcing portfolio. My top achievements within this role are the following: • Upheld production quality and ensured compliance with rigorous standards by visiting factories on a regular basis. • Led the largest department of Circular and Flat knits, whilst demonstrating remarkable leadership. Overcame hurdles like team member losses due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions. Spearheaded strategy to maintain operations and market visibility smoothly to ensure no disruptions. Achieved success through fostering trust and teamwork among a global team of experts. • Decreased lead times and improved supply chain efficiency through fabric liberty bundling packages for key suppliers.

In this role, I led the development of the company's website with a keen focus on creating an intuitive, visually appealing, and functional online platform. I designed a special LV Panettone box in collaboration with luxury brands like Louis Vuitton. I met the unique demands of prestigious brands and drove the company's success in the luxury market. Here are some of my highlighted key achievements: • Engaged in partnerships with renowned luxury brands like Louis Vuitton to develop bespoke packaging solutions. • Achieved cost savings in packaging through creative design strategies and external collaboration.

During this time period, I provided mentorship to the design team by guiding them on design techniques and industry standards. I engaged in supplier negotiations and conducted routine factory inspections to uphold production quality and adhere to high standards. I utilised market analysis to uncover and integrate best-selling items into a collection to drive sales and customer satisfaction. My top achievements within this role are the following: • Conceptualised and developed seasonal collections from initial sketch to final production, whilst ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends. • Implemented collection strategies and met business objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and buying. • Conducted trend research and analysis to forecast upcoming styles and incorporate innovative design elements into product offerings. • Managed garment fittings and oversaw sample development, whilst guiding patternmakers and sample sewers to achieve desired fit and quality standards.

During this tenure, I launched Nowadays Clothing, a flourishing men's casual wear brand renowned for modern aesthetics, adaptability, and unwavering quality standards. I managed the complete design and development lifecycle from conceptualisation to product delivery by ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and positioning. I organised design team meetings to devise collections in line with seasonal trends and customer preferences. Here are some of my highlighted key achievements: • Strengthened supplier relationships, negotiated prices, procured premium fabrics, and confirmed quality standards through thorough production inspections. • Guaranteed flawless fit, construction, and finishing for every garment within the collection by executing comprehensive sample checks and fittings. • Enhanced resource allocation and production efficiency for cost-effective solutions by creating accurate cost sheets and budget forecasts. • Attained creative excellence and business objectives by building and mentoring design and production teams.

Luxury Cashmere
