About

Hi there! I'm Begum, an enthusiastic Interior Design Graduate and a current graduate student of Fashion Media And Communication at London College Of Fashion. Motivated by the desire to create beautiful things which create a connection between people and feelings through spatial experiences. I am inspired by the notion of community and people. Spaces that build community and foster human interaction and give way for human stories to evolve. I strongly believe that design has a huge part to play in the stories we tell as individuals and as whole communities - something I hope to be able to build on throughout my future career working on projects which put human experience at its center whilst crafting incredible stories. I have a love of fashion and I particularly like projects which give me the opportunity to bridge my interest in fashion and interior design. I have always admired the theatricality and performativity of fashion environments - a collaboration between space and body. Creating hybrid spaces for contemporary fashion environments or curating immersive experiences for users to feel a connection to fashion and tell a visual story is one of my main goals. I am currently focused on the future of spatial experiences especially through new and emerging technologies to envision, plan and design fashion environments, experiences, events, and installations.

I did my construction internship at ENKA in the construction of TAIF Business Centre in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. I worked closely with the Design Team and the Internal Finishing Team. My duties involved CAD and Revit drawings, interior finishings, and furniture shipment supervisions. The TAIF Business Centre Project is located at No. 80 Pushkina Street in the heart of Kazan, the capital of the Russian republic of Tatarstan. The project undertaken by ENKA includes the center covering an area of 47,837 m², which is situated close to the River Kazanka, the Kazan Kremlin, and other main government buildings including the Presidential Palace. Altogether the center features 20,996 m² of office space finished to high architectural standards and 23,092 m² of car parking space. The center boasts eight stories above ground, rising to 33.5 m and faced with an aesthetically pleasing glazed façade, together with four floors underground to a depth of 15 m.
