Mudlark & Co

A footwear brand established whilst in London after an opportunity arose to take on machinery and patterns from a previous employer. Utilising the knowledge gained from all aspects of the fashion industry. Especially the years spent at Daks where I was often in a team of two designers in charge of the design-source-production both here and Globally. The previous years of working as a stylist for prestigious magazines such as Tatler, Vogue & Exit honed my eye and gave me the opportunity to meet many contacts. In setting up Mudlark & Co as a brand we had core clients we wished to sit with and those we could only hope of courting. We are proud to say we have collaborated and sold with those on our list. Growth into other product categories is on the horizon for Mudlark & Co. • Business Planning for Finance • Brand research: competitor/market placement etc. • Creation of the branding • Design and creation of the website • Set up of functioning workshop in London • Sourcing of all materials from product to packaging here in the UK • Sales, PR & Marketing • Outsourcing for larger production • Negotiating • Wholesale • UK Brand Ambassador at House of Commons for Made in Britain • Taking part in trade shows as part of UKFT Made in Britain trail • Research of new collaborators
