Toy Demonstrator – Hamleys, Regent Street (Part-Time, July–September 2025) As part of the demonstration team at Hamleys’ flagship Regent Street store, I was responsible for showcasing toys in a fun, engaging, and interactive way to attract and entertain customers. I created an exciting and welcoming atmosphere on the shop floor, demonstrating how products worked with enthusiasm and approachability. Through this role, I developed strong customer communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in direct sales, face-to-face negotiation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assistant Manager Lemonade by Lemonica, Stratford (10-Month Maternity Cover) During my time as Assistant Manager at Lemonade by Lemonica’s Stratford kiosk, I carried out both management and barista duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service. I prepared and served a range of fresh lemonade drinks to a high standard while overseeing staff rotas, stock control, and cash handling. I supported the Store Manager in training new team members, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and implementing efficient systems to optimise workflow during busy periods. This role allowed me to develop strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills while gaining hands-on experience in both management and front-line service within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Liphook barn-liphook (part time) 2023 jan- 2023 sept During my time as a volunteer, I cared for chickens, cats, and horses by feeding them, cleaning their enclosures, grooming and exercising when needed, and ensuring their overall wellbeing. I worked closely with staff and other volunteers to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, while also supporting the animals through socialization and enrichment. This experience allowed me to develop strong responsibility, communication, and teamwork skills, and I greatly enjoyed giving back to the community through meaningful animal care.I feel that starting with a volunteer job was a great experience for me to learn resilience and determination stress free.
