I am a Creative Director and Design Director with more than twelve years of global experience building performance-driven, culturally resonant apparel for North American, European, Middle Eastern, and Asian markets. My work blends athletic intention, emotional storytelling, and sharp visual direction. I create performance apparel with a cultural edge. My career has taken me around the world and given me the space to grow as both a designer and a creative leader. I began at Lululemon’s Lab, designing sellout capsules with athletes and yoga influencers by pairing technical precision with community-driven collaboration. At head office, I partnered across innovation, yoga, run, and outerwear to design some of the brand’s most technical products, including high support intimates, road cycling kits, and a complete performance swim and surf rebuild. I later moved into agency work, forecasting for WGSN, expanding into outdoor and ski apparel, and supporting early stage brands like Girlfriend Collective during their viral rise. That momentum brought me into the Chinese market, where I stepped into true performance scale through XTEP’s 6,000 store ecosystem, built Langerie Athletics from the ground up using the brand’s intimates DNA, and led the creative evolution at GROOW, sharpening their brand voice, product strategy, and innovation pipeline. This path shaped how I work today. Much of my career has been spent collaborating directly with founders, influencers, athletes, and performance artists, working alongside big personalities with strong creative instincts. I thrive in that space. I am comfortable holding the creative center while drawing out what makes someone original and translating that instinct into product that feels unexpected yet intentional. I have led teams inside complex global organizations and as a consultant, moving easily between performance innovation and high taste aesthetics. My process is sharp and narrative driven. I build seasonal worlds, design directional collections, and help designers and collaborators express stories that feel culturally relevant and emotionally grounded. I partner closely with Merchandising, Product, Marketing, and global development teams to bring ideas to life with clarity and momentum. The strengths I bring include strategic direction, collaborator management, performance expertise, cross functional fluency, and a leadership style grounded in clarity and curiosity. I build teams that feel brave enough to push, disciplined enough to execute, and inspired enough to care about the craft details that elevate product. My desire is to create exceptional products and support the growth of exceptional brands. I look for opportunities that sharpen a brand’s creative core, require deep performance knowledge, and produce work that influences culture at a global scale.
As a part-time design instructor, I develop and implement innovative curriculum for courses including CLO3D, Adobe Illustrator, Collection Design, Textiles, Fashion Illustration, and Fashion History. I have introduced new courses such as an 8-week CLO3D design course and a 12-week Collection Design course for the CORE Design program. Additionally, I have retooled existing curriculum to create a more engaging and interactive classroom environment. My responsibilities include providing one-on-one and written evaluations for student presentations, projects, and assignments, as well as drafting and grading exams. I mentor students to integrate sustainable practices and digital tools into their design processes, encouraging partnerships with local brands to introduce reworked capsule collections and environmentally friendly production methods. This role has allowed me to guide, inspire, and develop creative teams, a skill I bring to all my professional endeavors.
