Temporary employment 21stOctober – 1stJanuary In October 2023 I was given the opportunity of a temporary Sales Associate role at Frank Smythson Limited to cover the period of peak trading. During my time at Smythson's I further exercised my customer service skills and dealt with a new environment in the luxury retail environment. Experience gained: • Packaging and handling high value stock and organising it on the shopfloor. • Providing excellent customer service and going the extra mile to ensure the customer has the best possible shopping experience. • Maintaining a visually appealing store and making sure stock is displayed in an eye catching manner and is neatly organised. • Processing high value transactions accurately and efficiently. • Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets. • Having knowledge of all the products and understanding what goes into the production and manufacturing of each one.

In 2022 I began working at Wilko as a customer service assistant. I picked up many skills during the duration of working there which included: • Managing and facing stock on the shop floor for customer purchase • Working on tills processing payments, refunds and returns at one of the largest high street retail chains • Making sure each customer receives the best customer service by being friendly, warm, and helpful. • Having a good range of product knowledge to ensure customers are satisfied with their shopping experience and encourage repeat purchases from the store. • Moving stock from the shopfloor to the warehouse and carefully stocking it away for later use.
