I also performed final editing on all sports, copying and turning in run sheets to the layout editor by the required deadlines. Wrote also photo requests for stories by a deadline set by the photo editor. - I assigned and worked with sports writers on stories, and kept contact with layout artists to check progress of section. I strictly enforced all deadlines with very few exceptions, contributing constructive and helpful criticism to tear-up each week.
