Working for luxury houses such as Dior, Givenchy, Kenzo and Margiela has allowed me to acquire an experience of 10 years in accessories design but more specifically in jewellery. Currently as Jewellery consultant, I have now extend my expertise to fine jewellery and diamond knowledge. During those experiences, I have overseen and run all stages of show and commercial collections design and development process including; research, creation of the collection plan, drawings (free-hand illustrations, Adobe suite Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign), technical files, launchings as well as following development processes to realise final product and being in direct contact with creative directors and external guest collaborators. I had the opportunity to design for VIP’s bespoke projects and to be part of High Jewellery exclusive projects at the initial stage.
- Design of the collection of fine jewellery with gold and Lab-grown diamonds for men and women - Designing and working on the elaboration of new diamond cuts - Free-hand sketching, Photoshop mock-ups or Illustrator drawing in scale 1/1 to illustrate the collection - Meeting with diamond cutters to explain them the idea behind the diamond shapes - Creating technical pack to launch the jewellery - Researching of new manufacturers and presenting them our collection project - Following and reviewing the jewellery and diamonds development process - Explanation of the technical files to the 3D designer - Presentation of the researches or the collection to the creative director, the founder and head from other departments (image, marketing, operations) - Participation to image and marketing meeting concerning logos, hallmarks and strategy - Often collaborating with external artists and designers, proposing them designs - Helping reviewing their works for Snow with the creative director
- Building and running the jewellery collections including show (three per year), commercial offering and capsules. - Often collaborating with external artists and designers such as Travis Scott, Peter Doig, ERL, Lewis Hamilton, Hylton Nel among others. - Setting up and establishing permanent collections such as «Dior icon’s» and «Dior essentials» in silver and vermeil to support the seasonal offer - Presenting the collection each season to the creative director, the men’s business unit director and to the VIP’s. - Iconography and vintage research followed by moodboarding and presentation. - Initial sketching phase by hand followed by mock-ups or technical files on Photoshop and or Illustrator - Launching and following the development process at our different suppliers in Germany and Italy - Bespoke designs for VIP projects (vip wedding requests, Met Gala, Music tour) - Delivering the initial brief of the season and research to Victoire de Castellane and her studio to help them create the first ever High jewellery pieces created at Dior for the men’s fashion show. - Creating exclusive products in limited edition such as perfume bottles, jewellery box and luxury ashtrays in jasper and lapis lazuli

Sophie is an incredibly talented senior jewellery designer. Her breadth of experience in the international luxury sector has meant that she knows how to propose ideas and follow them through at a very high level. She has worked on some extremely high profile collaborations which has meant that she is adaptable and empathetic to reaching a design aesthetic. Sophie has an incredible joie de vivre and is total pleasure to have as part of the team. Her hand drawn and photoshop skills are beautiful and detailed. She can clearly present an idea. I would recommend Sophie in a heartbeat.
