Hi, I’m Maria — a dedicated visual storyteller with nearly a decade of experience in the fashion industry. As both a creator and consumer, I’m driven by a desire to feel inspired—by innovation, by aesthetics, and by the unexpected. My expertise includes: • Creating sophisticated, immersive visual merchandising experiences • Developing visual strategies aligned with commercial goals • Fashion styling and creative project management • Producing bespoke animations for events and launches • Coaching and motivating teams • Photography and visual content creation Career Highlights: • Supported the full visual execution of the TM x LV pop-up in London, Yayoi Kusama windows & lightbox installations • Managed the reopening of Heathrow Terminal 3's LV store, the top-performing airport location of 2023 • Delivered over 10 seasonal window campaigns/ pop-ups, and over 20 launch/event animations across flagship and regional stores I’m currently seeking new opportunities where I can apply my visual merchandising expertise to drive impactful business strategies. I'm particularly interested in head office–based roles that maintain a strong connection to store environments—spanning areas such as retail coaching, events, and project management within the fashion or beauty sectors. What excites me most are positions that blend creative vision with commercial insight—whether with established brands or emerging names. Let’s connect! As the Visual Merchandising Manager at the Louis Vuitton flagship store, I developed and executed commercially successful visual strategies that directly supported business growth. I led a team of VM Coordinators and collaborated closely with store management and the sales team to ensure alignment with key business objectives. My creative direction contributed to a significant uplift in the Watches & Jewellery category, notably through 2 impactful activations. I also played a key role in the execution and ongoing maintenance of the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton pop-up in Soho—one of only 7 globally. This high-profile project, celebrating 20 years of the TM x LV collaboration, was a standout experience and a powerful showcase of both my team’s capabilities and my leadership in delivering immersive brand experiences. I supported the execution of window displays, a lightbox animation, and more than 10 bespoke activations designed for high profile clients.
Leading the Visual Merchandising strategy for Louis Vuitton within one of London’s most iconic and high-traffic retail environments—Selfridges—I played a key role in driving commercial performance throughout 2024. Notably, I contributed to a 10% uplift in the Fashion Accessories category, helping position the store as the second-best performer across the network for several consecutive months. My journey began by supporting one of the most high profile projects to date: Pharrell Williams’ debut SS24 collection, which took over 27 Selfridges windows and the Corner Shop space. I led a team of four VM coordinators, provided VM training and guidance to Client Advisors and partnered closely with store management to align visual strategy with business goals. Over the course of my time in this role, I contributed to the execution of 2 pop-ups, multiple store activations and private shopping events.
As the Visual Merchandising Manager overseeing 6 regional stores, I built strong relationships with in-store teams while demonstrating high-level organizational skills and the ability to seamlessly implement seasonal product launches across multiple locations. A key highlight of this role was leading the visual execution of the Heathrow Terminal 3 expansion and reopening in September 2023—Louis Vuitton’s highest-performing airport store of the year. Alongside my team, I successfully delivered over 10 window installations across the Sloane Street and Westfield stores, while also coordinating quarterly lightbox updates in partnership with external contractors. Through meticulous planning and operational excellence, I consistently upheld elevated visual standards and supported the achievement of commercial goals across all locations.
As a Visual Merchandising Coordinator, I supported the VM Manager in planning and executing weekly rotations aligned with evolving business needs. I took ownership of several product categories, regularly liaising with senior leadership and store management to align on strategies that enhanced commercial performance. I implemented store zoning plans in close collaboration with Senior Client Advisors and Team Managers, recommending product alternatives during stock shortages and reporting directly to the VM Manager. Key responsibilities included: • Ensuring store maintenance met luxury retail standards and that all product displays adhered to Louis Vuitton’s visual guidelines • Supporting the training of Client Advisors on VM standards and leading VM inductions—continuously developing my coaching and leadership skills
As a Client Advisor, I was responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences while building strong, long-term relationships to drive brand loyalty. I consistently supported both individual and store-level business targets through a client-centric approach and strong product knowledge across all categories. Key responsibilities included: • Managing and enhancing the client journey to ensure a luxury-level experience • Cultivating lasting client relationships and driving loyalty to the Louis Vuitton brand • Executing daily sales operations and supporting overall store procedures • Achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals, both individually and as part of a team • Continuously developing deep product expertise across all categories to elevate the client experience
Maria was an exceptional member of my team, demonstrating a strong passion for her work and a deep commitment to excellence.
