Good Buy Roma Duty Free shops is the retail branch of Rome Airport SpA (AdR) until it’s outsourcing thru a tender won by Aelia (Lagardère Services Travel Retail) in 2012. Alexandre is in charge of the turnaround process to reorganize efficiently the branch; he is responsible for the strategic plan definition and execution, the merchandising mix (perfumes & cosmetics, liquors, fine-food, wines, gifts, jewels and tobacco), the revenue plan, retail space optimization, new store concepts and the P&L. He realized with his team +88% sales on constant perimeter in 5 years delivering double digit EBITDA.
Alexandre's mission consists in opening a European head-office to manage all Costa Cruise Line duty-free stores around the world, re-negotiating the concession contract with Costa Cruise Line, realizing a sales and merchandising turnaround process with the target to deliver profit. Recruitment of 180 people. Responsible for the P&L. All initiatives immediately led the division EBITDA in the region of 14% during all 3 years.
