• Management of day-to-day credit control function • Ensuring invoices, cash collections, proformas and personal orders are posted and resolved in a timely manner
• Regular contact via email with clients to ensure all invoices have been received and will be paid in line with agreed payment terms • Produce weekly aged debtor report for internal distribution to sales directors and financial management team. • Update the aged debt report with live comments and advise on any cash received. • Constant liaison and hold regular meetings with sales directors to address any col-lection issues. • Manage withholding tax certificates (WHT) requirements, issue tax certificates (COR) to overseas clients where necessary either by sending HMRC authorised letters or by completing forms as required. • Run reports through Creditsafe on new clients to get a credit rating and to ascertain credit risk to the company • Work with legal team re clients that are bad debts and require further action to be taken. • Provide regular updates to CEO and CFO and relevant sales directors on aged client debt to advise where clients are slow to pay or at risk of non-payment.
• Management of the credit control and accounts receivable team • Day to Day supervision of three credit controllers, ensuring the daily national and international banking is uploaded and allocated. • Ensure all wholesale accounts are contacted and monies collected in a timely manner, assisting on accounts that require further action. • Looked after all royalties, commission and design studio accounts. • Assisted with the new implementation of the Ayden payment platform for B2B & B2C customers. • Open and approve new accounts, doing credit searches, reviewing terms and credit limits on a regular basis
