About

I have over ten years of experience working in menswear design within high-end fashion studios, with a strong focus on research, product development, and the evolution of men’s wear codes in a contemporary context. I have over ten years of experience working in menswear design within high-end fashion studios, with a strong focus on research, product development, and the evolution of menswear codes in a contemporary context. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with Creative Directors and Head Designers, contributing to the develop- ment of cohesive collections from concept to final product. I am used to following the full design process, including research, concept development, colour and material selection, sketching, draping, fittings, and prototype follow-up through to SMS. My work is strongly focused on silhouette, volume, and proportion, with great attention to detail and consistency across the collection. At Neil Barrett, my work was closely linked to sartorial research and the pursuit of precise volumes. This experience helped me build a strong understanding of tailoring, construction, and structure, as well as a disciplined and rigorous approach to product development. At Damir Doma, I worked within a more conceptual and austere menswear language, exploring ideas of androgyny, restraint, and reduced forms. This environment strengthened my sensitivity to materials, atmosphere, and balance, and encouraged a more essential and thoughtful approach to design. In contrast, my experience at Fiorucci allowed me to explore a more playful and experimental side of menswear. I wor- ked with colour, graphics, and expressive elements, developing collections that were more open and energetic while remaining coherent, wearable, and relevant. Earlier in my career, a formative internship with Umit Benan introduced me to a research-based approach to menswear archetypes and cultural references, shaping my interest in narrative and identity within design. Bringing together these different experiences has been both a challenge and a creative exercise. Working across diver- se menswear codes and studio environments has allowed me to adapt my methods and design language.
