I am passionate about creating positive social impact and sustainability through events and fashion. As the Founder of One Wear Freedom, the UK's first 100% eco-friendly clothing hire service for womxn and non-binary babes, I aim to empower and inspire people to express themselves without harming the planet. I am also the Head of Partnerships + Events at The Little Door, a creative restaurant and bar group that produces immersive and interactive experiences for brands and consumers. With a Master of Arts degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Exeter, and fluency in English, and limited working knowledge of Arabic and French, I have a global perspective and a keen interest in addressing the root causes of violence and inequality. I have published a research paper on the link between corruption and extremism, and I have worked as an events and operations consultant and manager for 10x award-winning Hip Hop LDN, where I innovated and launched Garage Brunch and secured PUMA as the first corporate client. I have also produced events overseas as well as two virtual events with over 200 attendees during lockdown, participated in the GreenLive exhibition at Westfield Shopping Centre and various other workshops and panels, where I have spoken on 'Re-learning to Share', building a sustainable life and personal development. I have strong skills in communication, and customer relationship management, and I am always eager to learn and grow.
