Print Designer / Designer Karma On The Rocks is a boutique loungewear brand known for its minimalist, Japanese-inspired designs that blend comfort with elegance. I design all of their prints, drawing from Japanese culture with influences like ukiyo-e art, nature, and traditional patterns. In addition to creating custom prints, I collaborate on the overall design process, ensuring the garments embody the brand’s tranquil and sophisticated aesthetic.

Head of design - Designing and developing the entire scope of each collection from start to finish. My work with Replika New York involves contributing to the brand’s design process from concept to execution. House of Ronald (Ronald Abdala Ltd.)

Creative director / Owner and sole designer of the brand House Of Ronald. The House of Ronald was launched in the Fall/Winter of 2007, marking a significant milestone in my career as a fashion designer. In 2004, I joined Maison Rabih Kayrouz in Beirut as a senior fashion designer. Due to the 2006 war in Beirut, I decided it would be best to leave and find my way in a different country. However, By the summer of 2007 I was back in Beirut, where I launched my own fashion studio and introduced my first ready-to-wear collection, X-ray. Inspired by human anatomy, this collection aimed to glamorize the inner body through unique motifs, quickly capturing the attention of the international fashion industry and earning outstanding reviews. Since then, my brand has gained recognition as a high-end fashion line, showcasing a blend of Western fashion and traditional Middle Eastern elements. This multicultural identity is a hallmark of my work and contributes to my line’s international appeal. Throughout my career, I have designed over 19 collections, including ready-to-wear, couture, and bridal lines. Managing my own atelier allowed me to lead a talented team of artisans, ensuring each garment meets the highest standards of quality and artistry. I showcased my work in fashion shows and sold pieces through retailers like Wolf & Badger and Harvey Nichols, as well as select boutiques across the UK, France, Italy, and the UAE. My recognition was further highlighted in 2010 when I became the first designer of color selected for the prestigious Maison Euro-Méditerranéenne de la Mode scholarship program, supported by the French Ministry of Culture.

MAISON RABIH KAYROUZ

I designed couture collections and managed private client orders while overseeing the design and pre-production phases of Ready-To-Wear collections. My role involved conducting in-depth research into textiles, colors, fabrics, and design details, ensuring that each piece met a high standard of quality and artistry. I was responsible for creating all embroidery designs and worked closely on developing toiles for couture collections, focusing on precision and craftsmanship. In addition to my design responsibilities, I actively managed client relations, engaging directly with couture clients to understand their unique preferences and requirements. This collaborative approach allowed me to deliver custom, high-end designs tailored to their needs, ensuring a personalized experience. By fostering strong relationships and maintaining open communication, I strived to exceed client expectations and contribute to the brand’s reputation for excellence in the fashion industry.
