Director of CATWALK Charity Fashion Show 2018, St. Andrews, UK I headed a 24 person committee in a cross-disciplinary role from April 2017 to March 2018 and provided creative and logistical direction for the largest venue based event affiliated with the University of St. Andrews Charities Campaign and RAG week. The 2018 event raised a total of £12,900 (the largest amount in the show’s history) for Save The Children, The Scottish Refugee Council and Fife Families First. The event was a sell out and attended by over 500 guests. This led to CATWALK being placed placed third in the National Student Fundraising Awards 2018 for ‘Big Impact, Small Budget' on account of our significant fundraising amounts. Regularly communicating with each of our charitable partners, designers and sponsors, myself and the rest of the committee were proud of form a variety of successful relationships both inside and outside university networks. An hugely rewarding yet challenging position, I was proud to see significant growth in the show's charitable reputation, creativity and brand in it's third year of operation and feel incredibly privileged to have led such a worthwhile venture and to have been supported by such a hard-working team. I look forward to seeing how the show progresses in coming years.
