With over ten years of experience in the apparel and fashion industry, I am a passionate and creative Print & Fashion Designer at Zione Brand, a leading online retailer of women's clothing and accessories. I have a BA in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni and am skilled in Print Design, Repeats, Adobe Illustrator, Textile Design, and Layout Design. At Zione Brand, I am responsible for designing all print designs for the collection, including all-over prints and specialising in print engineering. I also research new trends and inspirations, sketch collections, present at design team meetings, build mood boards and colour palettes, and lead the print brief to present to the Creative Director. Additionally, I manage and coordinate the brand's social media and editorial content, creating copy text, editing photos and videos, assisting with photoshoots, and developing the overall concept for the collection. I have created on-brand and visually compelling looks for editorial projects with a 25% increase in social media engagement. As a Graphic Designer at UPL Vision, a company at the forefront of pioneering solutions for digital fitness and wellbeing platforms like Own Your Goals with Davina McCall and Move with Molly by Love Island All Stars Winner Molly Smith, I assumed the pivotal role of crafting both online and offline communications. For Move with Molly, I led the design efforts, creating all branding assets and establishing brand guidelines for consistent and effective visual representation.
As the fashion and print designer for the collection, my responsibilities included creating all-over and engineered prints, researching trends, presenting sketches at design meetings, overseeing print briefs, creating mood boards, colour palettes, and producing CAD illustrations for spec sheets. As Graphic Designer, tasks included branding and identity development, social media graphics, logos, posters, infographics, and signage.
As an intern, my daily tasks included trend analysis and research for print design based on the latest collections, preparation of artwork, drawings, and illustrations for print designs, composition for textile prints, and skills in Adobe Photoshop for design composition and editing.
As an intern, I helped machinists by setting up dockets, collecting samples, and organising trims, including cutting zips. I managed stock levels of all trims in the studio, filed and recorded all trims and information, and created seasonal thread charts for machinists to follow. Additionally, I maintained stock levels of fabrics, was responsible for shrink tests on all new fabrics, and performed fused and dry-cleaning tests on all required fabrics. I built dockets for factory sampling and managed the stock of stationery supplies for the studio.
