Hospitality

Since the age of 14, I have balanced education and work, and this experience early on quickly developed many of my soft skills. Having worked full-time, part-time and one-offs to help out I am used to adapting to wherever I fit in a team. From my interpersonal skills and team understanding, I find it easy to slot in wherever I am most helpful. This is particularly clear from a restaurant assistant manager role I had, where prioritisation of tasks changed very quickly and I switched from delegating tasks to potwashing with ease. I have worked in bigger teams, smaller teams and multiple industry types and from this I've honed my intuition and become an adaptable and fast learner. Equally, I am unafraid to ask questions as I have been both the trainee and the trainer and have used every opportunity to learn what I can from each role.
