I have hands-on retail experience at Barnardo’s, where I developed strong customer service, merchandising, and stock management skills. I am reliable, adaptable, and passionate about delivering excellent service, maintaining high presentation standards, and thriving in fast-paced high street retail environments.
I worked as a volunteer in Bernardos for a few months. This allowed me to gain skills such as retail experience as well as stacking shelves and communicating with customers.
At the start of the school year, I decided to tutor younger students, based in primary school as a small business. This allowed me to teach myself how to dedicate time to my studies and my business and how to multi-task both. I had around 4 students who I taught weekly which allowed me to stay consistent.
I worked in the finance department in sky exploring 4 different types of jobs within a span of 2 days. I learnt the importance of communication and the dedication it takes to work a full-time job.
I have always had a passion for baking so at the age of 14 I decided to pursue this passion and take it a step further by opening my own small business. I take orders and create cakes at home. I have always been a very driven individual and by doing this I have taught myself the reality of having a business and the hard work that goes into it.
