Friendship Holiday- Oakfield Park School- Fundraised, and orchestrated a holiday for children with autism. Several meetings and fundraising events were held to, stay with the students, and take them on fun days out. The experience was extremely rewarding as we were able to contribute to their lives giving them greater independence from their caretakers. The project benefitted my teamwork and problem-solving skills.  Lourdes Pilgrimage- Assisted persons with disabilities, providing care, transportation, and entertainment. I aided and befriended people with cancer, down's syndrome, paralysis, and Alzheimer’s disease instilling my want to contribute. I became comfortable tending and conversing with them, seeing the person over the task or illness.
