I am an experienced retail professional with a strong background in customer service at the new Peppa Pig Store in Battersea Power Station, and Tesco . I excel in communication, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer experiences in fast-paced environments, including checkout operations and shelf stocking. My experience with children has made me empathetic, and will always try to help and support others.
I deliver an interactive and immersive experience to families when they enter the new Peppa Pig store at Battersea Power Station. I do photography sessions with families when Peppa Pig comes out in costume, supervise children when they are playing on the soft play section, and assist and advise customers on products we have in store. I am also a children’s entertainer whilst doing birthday parties and make sure families have the best experience possible.
During the Christmas season, I played the character of 'Buttons' in a touring pantomime of 'Cinderella' around schools and other venues in Newcastle. This role required self-discipline and good time management skills, as we had to travel to each destination on time to set up and take down the set before and after each show. It also required me to work under pressure, as I had to learn a lot of directions and dance in a short amount of time.
In the summer of 2022 and 2023, I was a camp counsellor at a summer camp in America. I had to look after children aged seven to twelve years old, while we did puzzle-solving games, and followed a storyline. It improved my creativity, as well as my decision-making and leadership skills.
I serve customers at the checkouts, customer service desk, and self-serve. In addition to this, I will sometimes cover Team Support's breaks. I will also assist on the shop floor by stacking shelves, greeting customers at the front door, or helping them with their shop. This job has improved my communication and listening skills, and my ability to respond well to customer's needs, so they are satisfied with their shopping experience. It has also taught me to deal with difficult situations quickly and effectively, so I'm always ready for new challenges that come my way.
I worked as a crew member at McDonald's in Loughborough. I had to serve customers in the drive-through and take orders. I also had to make drinks and clean the kitchen. It required speed, self-discipline, and good customer service.
I worked as an actor as part of the Xtreme Scream Park company, over the Halloween season, where I had to play the role of the 'Halloween Clown'. My role was to scare the customers coming through the Curtain Chaos Maze, which was one of the attractions in the park. This job required focus and commitment to keep my energy going throughout the night, so I could still entertain the customers coming around later.
