I am a highly motivated student attending London College of Fashion, particularly interested in using art/fashion to promote social awareness through combining multiple mediums of art.
I produced a full look and set which was the opening performance for the Moshions show (Kwanda) on the 27th of August. The final product was the result of creative research, development, draping and fabric manipulation. Through this work I collaborated with many different artists and fashion designers.
Created concept notes for a collaboration between Asantii and the Rwandan Development Board, project plan for the fashion sector of Trace.TV awards in October, provided a design for the upcoming Asantii x BAL capsule collection and did various market analysis on Asantii. Worked as a store associate in the luxury store and provided a new template for counting stock. During Women Deliver I delivered stock and did in person marketing. I also worked in the factory making fabric swatch boards, swatch cards, counting factory stock, photographing size sets and taking notes during meetings. I also learned about tech packs which allowed me to do quality and size inspections.
Learn Serve is a program where students work together to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship under the scope of helping the world. We do collaborations with other students across the world such as in Africa and Latin America. My project was on revamping the way schools deal with sexual assault. I was able to employ the project in my school, pitch it to investors and other schools as well.
Work experience in Ayurvedic wellness centre; helping out in kitchen, gym and dining room, leading outdoor activities, cleaning and engaging with guests.
Worked at figure skating summer camps in NYC in 2017 and 2018. Assisted Synchronised Figure Skating team coaches on drills, routines and helping kids individually in Washington DC from September 2020-2022.
