Selected as part of the opening team for EDIKTED's first UK store, supporting the successful launch of the American fashion brand on London's Carnaby Street. Developed strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced retail environment, while maintaining high store standards, operating POS systems, and supporting stockroom operations. Contributed to creating a welcoming customer experience and encouraging customer feedback. As part of the launch team, helped the store achieve over £1 million in sales within its first month, becoming EDIKTED's highest-performing store globally-an achievement the team was proud to be part of. Role concluded due to relocation at the end of my student tenancy; left on positive terms and invited to reapply for future vacancies.
I am currently interning with designer Maximillian Raynor, working across demi-couture fittings and garment development. My role involves dressing and fitting both celebrity clientele and models, requiring a calm, delicate approach to put clients at ease, alongside the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced casting environments. I have also supported the team during London Fashion Week, where strong organisation, forward planning, and attention to detail were essential. I bring a strong knowledge of fit, tailoring, and proportion, and support the atelier through hands-on sewing, pattern cutting assistance, and garment refinement to a high standard.
I completed a one-month internship with Grete Henriette, contributing to the development of her AW26 collection inspired by Victorian corsetry. I developed corset toiles and supported intricate beading and embroidery, while also taking on key studio responsibilities. I was trusted to independently source fabrics and materials and to run errands using the company card, demonstrating a high level of reliability, discretion, and professionalism. Working within a small studio, I supported the day-to-day running of the space and worked efficiently as part of a close-knit team.
In this vibrant, summer-focused company, I work closely with guests to deliver seamless dining experiences and outstanding service. As the business has grown into a more high-end market, I've developed strong sales skills, particularly through working alongside top-tier chefs and gaining in-depth knowledge of their menus to confidently upsell to customers. I have completed extensive wine training, including specialist Laurent-Perrier training, to provide tailored wine pairings; especially when working at Tom Browns, the most premium restaurant in the group. This role has deepened my expertise in the hospitality industry and fully rounded out my 5 years of front-of-house experience.
