I am an enthusiastic individual, who can lead a team to deliver results. My experience within the fashion industry has led me to become highly motivated and organised within a fast moving environment. My knowledge spans across product areas which enables me to be commercially aware of how to identify and deliver trends through an understanding of the production, sourcing and supply base. I have an extensive knowledge of product sourcing & development across a broad range of categories within the womenswear market. I am currently consulting with brands, working alongside the founders/owners to create buying and product strategies. I have a wide network of contacts after working in the industry for over 20 years.
I helped the brand scope out the Head of Buying role and supported driving the buying strategy, managing the critical path and delivering trend-led, profitable collections that align with Hush's creative vision and customer expectations. Reporting into the CEO, this role offered me leadership, strategy and innovation.
I support the business as Head of Buying on a consultancy basis. I work as a mentor to the buying team, guiding them with clarity, patience, and insight, while also elevating their confidence and capabilities. I support the team with their product strategy and help drive this forward.
I am currently consulting with brands, working alongside the founders/owners to create buying and product strategies. I have a wide network of contacts after working in the industry for over 25 years.
My original brief was to support Eleven Loves in broadening their product range into new categories and establish new factory partners. Over the course of our working partnership, we grew the suppliers from two to nine partners and I was instrumental in the expansion from a predominantly jerseywear-focused business into knitwear, denim and wovens.
I supported a very exciting growing brand in all aspects of Buying, including product development, sourcing & delivery of new product ranges and integration of new wholesale/retail channels.
