Self employed agent of the Bold Exposure advertising and sales company selling monthly charity subscription for our client: The Blue Cross animal welfare charity, going door to door in target neighbourhoods and applying the lessons in sales theory provided by the bold exposure company. In this role I learned the importance of a clear and effective pitch and also how to build rapport with a potential customer.
In this role adaptability is key: each shift is normally a new venue with new co- workers and new responsibilities, therefore it is required to be a fast learner and very adaptable. A few of the responsibilities I took on in this role include providing high- class silver service on a strict schedule, bartending for personal suites and premium lounges of stadiums, running food service in boxes of stadiums and many more. All of these environments are high stress and require a cool-headed temperament.
In this role I helped value, clean and sell cars on my Dad's car pitch in Sheffield until it was liquefied due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This job was my introduction into the real working world and taught me the value of time and that I should be hardworking and resilient in the workplace.
